APR-Aviation Training Centre, an approved Maintenance Training Organisation by Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, with proven track record in the training of Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technicians, is in collaboration with ST Engineering Aerospace (STEA), one of the world's largest aircraft MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) solutions provider based in Singapore.

 

The collaboration of two established and leading organisations in its field, is now offering opportunities to young Malaysians who are passionate to embark on a career in the aircraft maintenance industry and be part of a global company.

The dual-phase traineeship will be conducted both in Malaysia and Singapore.  Upon successful completion, students will be offered employment as an Aircraft Technician in ST Engineering Aerospace and/or in any of its affiliates.

Since commencing in 2021, Batch 01 & B02 already employed by STEA, whilst Batch 03, 04 & 05  are undergoing OJT at STEA.

This training is funded by ST Engineering Aerospace, with monthly allowance provided throughout the training period.

Training Overview

Phase 1 : Training

Duration : 1  month to 7 months,

depending on program

Venue: APR-Aviation Training Centre, Subang

Students will undergo theoretical and practical training, relevant to trade selected.

Allowance : SGD 400.00 per month, will be paid lump sump when entering Phase 2 in Singapore.

Phase 2 : OJT (On-the-Job Training)

Duration : 9 months

 

Venue: ST Engineering Aerospace, Singapore

Upon succesful completion of Phase 1, students will undergo supervised OJT for hands-on industry experience

Allowance: SGD 1,000.00++ per month & accommodation provided in Singapore

Mechanical  |  7 months  |  Open to SKM and Diploma holders

Mechanical & Structures (Accelerated)  |  4 months  | Open to Diploma holders in Aircraft Maintenance

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) PT & MT  |  1.5 months  |  Open to Diploma holders

Turbine Engine Assembly/Disassembly (CFM 56-7B)  |  3 months  |  Open to SKM and Diploma holders

Entry Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen

  • Age 19 - 25 years old

  • Hold SKM or Diploma in technical/engineering fields

  • Mentally and physically fit, not colour blind

  • Fluent in English Language

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a pre-interview and a joint interview.

For NDT program, candidates are subjected to visual acuity test.
