Aircraft Mechanic Level 1

For aviation enthusiasts, with or without aircraft maintenance experience

​

Our Aircraft Mechanic Level 1 is a part-time, basic aviation course designed for aviation enthusiasts with either no experience or limited experience in the industry.

​

The course will serve to introduce the fundamentals of an aircraft to students with theoretical knowledge on modules such as Basic Engineering, Electric, Airframe, Gas Turbine Engines, Aviation Safety, Ground Handling and Legislation.

​

Students who have successfully completed this course and obtained a minimum of one (1) year working experience in the aviation industry also have the option to further their career through:

​

  • CAAM Part-66 Category A to obtain a technician licence after three (3) years of aircraft maintenance experience and passing the required module examinations in respective categories;

  • CAAM Part-66 Category B to obtain an engineer's licence after give (5) years of aircraft maintenance experience and passing the required module examinations in respective categories.

Aircraft Ground Handling

For aircraft maintenance personnel

​

Our Ground Handling course aims to equip participants with the knowledge on how to examine ground handling functions, from aircraft marshalling to pushback, check-in to de-icing, analysing the management responsibilities on the ramp and in the passenger and cargo terminals.

​

This course can be tailored to the industry's specific requirements, from Basic to Intermediate.

Aircraft Painting

Our Aircraft Painting Course has been designed to develop skilled aircraft painting technicians to meet the industry's demand. This course includes theoretical knowledge and hands-on structured practical training on all aspects of aircraft spray painting and surface finishing.

Aircraft Composite Repair

For aircraft maintenance personnel

Our Aircraft Composite Repair course has been designed to provide students with the theoretical and practical skills necessary to carry out aircraft composite structural repairs. Participants will learn how to classify damage and determine necessary repair documents, describe the necessary repair equipment and tooling as well as perform sheet metal repair work in accordance to the manual.

Aircraft Sheet Metal Repair

For aircraft maintenance personnel

Aircrafts require regular maintenance on its structure as the aircraft sheet metal is exposed to enormous forces during take-off, flight and landing. It is important that the structural repairs are performed by well-trained and skilled sheet metal workers to ensure the aircraft is safe to fly.

​

Our Aircraft Sheet Metal Repair course aims to equip participants on the knowledge of the aircraft structure inspection methods, cleaning and corrosion control, fastening and fabrication works to ensure the structural integrity of the aircraft is maintained in accordance to the maintenance regulations.
