Trainee Aircraft Technicians Program
APR-Aviation Training Centre, an approved Maintenance Training Organisation by Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, with proven track record in the training of Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technicians, is in collaboration with Base Maintenance Malaysia Sdn Bhd (BMM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) - Asia's foremost aircraft MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) service provider.
Base Maintenance Malaysian (BMM), which operates from hangars in Subang Airport, Selangor, will be the third base maintenance hub for SIAEC in the Asia Pacific region, after Singapore and Philippines.
This training collaboration offers opportunities to young Malaysians who are passionate to embark on a career in the aircraft maintenance industry and be part of a prominent MRO company.
The training will be for a duration of 1 year, conducted both in Malaysia and Singapore. Students may opt to specialise in Mechanical or Avionics trade.
Upon successful completion, students will be offered employment as an Aircraft Technician in BMM, Subang.
This training is co-funded by BMM.
Commencement of training is in Jun/Jul 2024.
Training Overview
Phase 1 : Theoretical/Practical Training
Duration : 6 months
Venue: APR-Aviation Training Centre, Subang
Students will undergo theoretical/practical training on aircraft maintenance modules and will be trained on essentials basic skills relevant to an Aircraft Technician.
Allowance: Not provided
Training fee: 50% to be borne by students and 50% by BMM
Phase 2 : On-the-Job Training (OJT)
Duration : 6 months
Venue: SIAEC, Singapore
Upon succesful completion of Phase 1, students will undergo OJT for hands-on industry experience at SIAEC's aircraft maintenance facility in Changi, Singapore.
Allowance: RM 3,500.00 per month
Training fee: Nil
Entry Requirements

Malaysian, age 18 - 25 years old

Minimum SPM / O Level with at least grade C in Mathematics, Science/Physics and English Language. Diploma holders are encouraged to also apply. SPM 2023 students may apply using SPM trial result.

Mentally and physically fit, not colour blind

Have good communication skills.
Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for the aptitude test & interview, scheduled on 20 & 21 May 2024.
