Aircraft Turbine Engine Technician Fast-Track Program

An Approved Aircraft Maintenance Organisations (AMO), specialising in Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft turbine engines, is looking for candidates with minimum Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance for their technicians program.

The Program
This 1-year fast-track program encompasses aircraft maintenance courses, Technical English course, soft skills courses and On-the-Job Training at their MRO facility in Subang, Selangor. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be employed as Aircraft Technicians.
​
Students will be provided with monthly allowance throughout the program.
​
This Technician Program is conducted by the AMO in collaboration with Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC). APR-Aviation Training Centre is the training provider for the aircraft maintenance courses.

Entry Requirements
- Malaysians.
- Applicant born in Selangor, or parents born in Selangor or applicant has resided in
Selangor for more than 10 years.
- Minimum Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance.

Aircraft Turbine Engine Mechanic Apprenticeship Programs

General Electric (GE), via its aviation segment, is the world-leading provider of aircraft turbine engines, powering almost 90% of commercial aircraft around the globe. GE Engine Services (M) provides maintenance, repair and overhaul services for aircraft engines through its workshop in Subang, Selangor.

The Program
This 2-year apprenticeship program encompasses aircraft maintenance courses, Technical English course, soft skills courses and On-the-Job Training at GE Engine Services (M) maintenance facility in Subang, Selangor. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be employed by GE Engine Services (M) as Aircraft Turbine Engine Mechanics.

Students will be provided with monthly allowance throughout the apprenticeship program.
​
The GE Aircraft Turbine Engine Mechanic Apprenticeship Program is conducted in collaboration with GE Engine Services (M), Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC) and APR-Aviation Training Centre as the aviation training provider.

Entry Requirements
- Malaysian citizen
- Applicant born in Selangor, or parents born in Selangor or applicant has resided in
Selangor for more than 10 years.
- Minimum SPM with at least grade C in English Language, Mathematics and Science.
Diploma holders may also apply.
