Our Aircraft Mechanic Level 2 is a part-time aviation course designed for students who have gained the minimum of one (1) year of experience in the areas of aircraft systems. We currently offer Level 2 subjects in Airframe, Turbine Engines and Electric Trades.

The course is designed to enhance and deepen the knowledge of students on the understanding of aircraft systems. Students that have completed the Aircraft Mechanic Level 2 have the option to further their careers through:

​

  • CAAM Part-66 Category A to obtain a technician license after 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience and passing the required module examinations in respective categories

 

  • CAAM Part-66 Category B to obtain an engineer's license after 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience and passing the required module examinations in respective categories

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM with the ability to read, write and understand the
    English language

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in aircraft maintenance in the respective trade

  • Aircraft Mechanic Level 1 or equivalent respective trade course

Course Duration

  • Part-time

  • Two (2) evenings (6.30pm to 9.30pm) & one Saturday (9.00am to 5.00pm)

  • Airframe (4 months) / Turbine Engines (2.5 months) / Electrical (2.5 months)

Programme Details

  • Medium of instruction: English

  • Examination at the end of each course with a passing mark of 75%

  • Trainees will receive an in-house Certificate of Accomplishment after passing each examination*
