Programs: Human Factors

This course is designed to provide an overview of the importance in understanding the human factors, in relation to safety awareness in the aviation industry; be it in an office environment, in a manufacturing facility, in the hangar, or on the apron side.

 

The application of safety rules and regulations is an integral part of the aviation discipline, and students will be able to appreciate the reasons for the implementation of the procedures as these are meant to ensure safety in the workplace to all parties; directly or otherwise.

 

The syllabus is based on CAAM Part-66 Module 9.

Requirements

  • Able to read, write and understand the English language 

  • An interest in aviation safety and human factors

  • Relevant experience in aviation-related organisations

Course Duration

  • Full-time, 9.00am to 4.30pm

  • Initial Human Factors: Three (3) days

  • Refresher Human Factors: Two (2) days

Programme Details

  • Medium of instruction: English

  • Examination at the end of each course with a passing mark of 75%

  • Trainees will receive an in-house Certificate of Accomplishment after passing the examination*
